As you enter this exquisite 1928 Spanish Colonial Revival corner property in Hancock Park low stucco rake walls act as accent to house’s architecture and greet you as one is surrounded by lush Pygmy Date and Sago Palms with striking burgundy leafed Loropetalums, chartreuse Sunset Gold Heathers.  As your journey commences one is welcomed with classic red Saltillo curved walk tiles with steps faced with colorful, whimsical ceramic tile and uniquely separated with old mortar.  This lends a sense of synergistic authenticity with the timeless architecture.

Unique sculptural plantings including a variety of Succulents, Cactus, Aloe, Yuccas, Blue Dioon’s, Palm trees stipple the landscape.  A majestic Dasylirion with its fountain like form lend a sense of sculpture to the garden. Additional drought plantings surround a verdant green lawn area.  All wrought iron was refinished in original color and texture.  Accent wood trim colors on doors, railings were painted with bright Spanish colors to further reinforce the Architecture’s classic theme.

An inner courtyard was reimagined and features a stunning Wall Fountain with classic cobalt blue tiles, Saltillo Red Tiles, accent ceramic tiles in different sizes are added to the stucco columns for added classic interest!  The patio is surrounded on perimeter by lush tropical plantings and Citrus trees.
